On Saturday, May 6, in the framework of the XXI edition of the Latin American Film Festival, the Argentinian film "El ciudadano ilustre" ("The Distinguished Citizen") was displayed, with an excellent attendance.

Before the screening, the Executive Director of the Canadian Film Institute and responsible for the organization of the Festival, Mr. Tom Mc. Sorley, and the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy, Sec. Agustina Alvarez Vicente, gave a welcome speech emphasizing the importance of the argentine film industry and international recognition that the film has had so far.

The film was displayed at the River Building Theater at Carleton University.
